A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, ELECTING
1-410s4 SVECAAS VICE MAYOR; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the City Charter provides that the City Commission elect a Vice Mayor; and
WHEREAS,the City Charter of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,provides that there
shall be a Vice Mayor who shall be appointed every calendar year.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Declaration of Vice Mayor. That I (Ltstk GVECtild shall be Vice Mayor
commencing immediately,pursuant to §2.2(b)of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Municipal Charter.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

REASONS:
The City's Charter provides that a Vice Mayor will be appointed every
calendar year. Mayor Scholl has the authority to nominate the Vice
Mayor,with confirmation by the City Commission.
