The alternate decorative light pole is manufactured by Flagpole – 22’-6” AG STRAIGHT FLUTED ALUMINUM ANCHOR BASED PLE, PAINTED BLACK WITH DECORATIVE 2-PIECE WRAP AROUND BASE. The alternative luminaire is manufactured by King Luminaire – DECORATIVE TEAR DROP LED ROADWAY LUMINAIRE WITH 6’ DECORATIVE ARM. GOLDEN SHORES STREET LIGHTING VALUE ENGINEERING PROPOSAL NO. 2 AUM Construction, Inc. proposes to construct via Directional Bore the Utility Undergrounding of Golden Shores for $60.00/Linear Foot, Furnish & Install. The per linear foot unit cost includes 1 – 4” HDPE Schedule 40 conduit for FPL Utility, 1-2” HDPE Schedule 40 conduit for AT&T, 1-2” HDPE Schedule 40 conduit for Comcast, 1-2” HDPE Schedule 40 conduit for Atlantic Broadband and 2 – 2” HDPE Schedule 40 conduits for the City’s street lighting plus 1 -2” HDPE Schedule 40 conduit as a spare for the City’s use. The conduits will be bundled in one main underground trench within the City’s Right-of-Way. This Value Engineering proposal allows the City to delete the following pay items from the Golden Shores Street Lighting Bid: - Item 04 – Sawcut & Remove 2’ Strip of Asphalt - Item 06 – Conduit Installed in Existing Pavement - Item 13 – Temporary Asphalt GOLDEN SHORES STREET LIGHTING VALUE ENGINEERING PROPOSAL NO. 3 AUM Construction, Inc. proposes to mill and resurface the entire Golden Shores neighborhood at the following special pricing: - Milling 1” of existing asphalt - $3.00/Square Yard - Resurfacing with 2” SP-9.5 Asphaltic Concrete - $16.00/Square Yard Golden Shores has approximately 32,400 Square Yards of existing paved roads.
