A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2020-3116, REVISING THE ESTABLISHED
SCHEDULE FOR CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2021;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 17, 2020, via Resolution No. 2020-3116, the City Commission
established a schedule of City Commission meetings for calendar year 2021; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to revise the established schedule to change the
Regular City Commission Meeting in September from the 16th to the 14tH
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Change in 2021 Schedule of Commission Meetings. The schedule for
City Commission meetings for calendar year 2021 shall be changed as set forth herein.

RE: Amending Resolution No. 2020-3116 Revising the 2021 Regular City
Commission Meeting Schedule
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this Resolution.
REASONS:
On September 19th, 2020, via Resolution No. 2020-3116, the City Commission adopted the schedule of
Regular City Commission Meetings (RCCM) for calendar year 2021. The RCCMs are generall
scheduled on the third Thursday of every month, with the exception of August. This Resolution seeks
to amend the previous Resolution to change the date of the RCCM in September, from the 10 to the
14th
