Home My WebLink AboutReso 2021-3255RESOLUTION NO. 2021- 3� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REQUEST SUBMITTED BY CROSS ATLANTIC BUILDERS, LLC ("APPLICANT") TO PLACE TWO (2) TEMPORARY BANNERS AT THE AURORA CONDOMINIUM PROJECT LOCATED AT 17550 COLLINS AVENUE; SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Cross Atlantic Builders, LLC ("Applicant"), submitted an application to the City of Sunny Isles Beach ("City") requesting to place two (2) temporary banners for the Aurora Condominium Project located at 17550 Collins Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve the request to place two (2) temporary banners on the Aurora Condominium. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Temporary Banners. Pursuant to Section 265-14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the City Commission hereby approves the request submitted by the Applicant, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 2. Section 2. Conditions. The Applicant is required to obtain all necessary permits for the installation of two (2) banners, and such banners must be installed according to plans submitted with this application. The banners shall not be relocated and/or replaced without prior approval from the City Manager. The banners must be removed from the building no later than one (1) year from the approval date, unless an extension is provided by City Manager or designee. Section 3. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. Section 4. Effective Date. REASONS: Cross Atlantic Builders, LLC ("Applicant") is requesting to place two (2) temporary banners for the approved Aurora Condominium Tower located at 17550 Collins Avenue. The two (2) banners are required to be placed according to plans submitted with this application.
