While it was stated existing conduit/raceways were in good condition, this could be the highest cost driver, if they are found not to be viable while testing them prior to cable installation. ISG reserves the right to increase the labor rates should there be an unforeseen market shift (i.e., natural disasters, force majeure, etc.). 8. Unless given 24 hour notice of city closure, client shutdowns, etc., ISG will bill client additional per diem associated with craftsman who report to worksite on that day. 9. This proposal is subject to mutual agreement on the Terms and Conditions of a formal contract prior to there being any binding obligation on the part of either party. All owner furnished equipment being delivered to the site with any applicable internal wiring and appurtenances pre-installed and tested (i.e. Network Racks) b. Any existing materials (i.e.: conduit, cable tray, cable, wire, grounding, etc.) that are being re-used shall be of sufficient length, quantity, and in good working condition c. Existing conduits are to be free of obstruction and damage with pull strings pre-installed by others d. Demolition as delineated on the drawings. Any conduit and wiring that may not be indicated on the single line diagrams, schematics, or wiring diagrams is not included in our proposal. 2. ISG has included provisions for mechanical excavation associated with below grade electrical and instrument installations. No provisions have been included for the following which may be encountered with these underground installations. If required, they can be addressed on a Time and Materials basis: a. Removal of unforeseen underground obstructions. b. Removal of rock or caliche during excavation. c. Testing, removal, and/or remediation of contaminated soil. d. Soil compaction testing. e. Off-site disposal of spoils. f. Off-site water supply. g. Remote dig hose in excess of twenty (20’) feet. h. Supply, installation, and/or maintenance of an on-site spoils collection area. i. Supply of new material for backfill. j. Hydro Vac and/or Air Vac excavation. k. Well Pointing l. Removal of frozen soil during excavation. m. Excavations deeper than four (4’) feet in depth. n. The unit price schedule is included in our proposal; however, should the: a. base man-hours increase more than ten (10%) percent b. project duration is extended c. Additional overtime is incurred due to schedule compression or additional scope ISG reserves the right to renegotiate pricing to include increases associated with Time Driven Overhead costs (Staffing, Equipment, and Facilities) and premium time adders. 3. ISG’s proposal is based on quantities being mutually agreed to by all parties based on AFC drawings. If quantities cannot be mutually agreed upon and the contract is administered as a purely unit rate contract, cost associated with the supply of additional staff (i.e., quantity surveyors, clerks, field engineer, etc.) will be reimbursed to ISG. 4. Unit Rates are applicable to bulk installations consistent with new construction. Rates are not applicable for work associated with the following: a. Rework on vendor furnished equipment b. Extra Work Time & Material Clarifications The following shall apply to ISG’s extra work Time and Material and Equipment Rental Rates: 1. Straight Time rate (S.T. Rate) is to be applied to all hours worked per week from 0 to 40 hours, Monday thru Friday. Over Time rate is to be applied to all hours worked per week in excess of 40 hours, Monday thru Friday, and for all hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays. 2. The double time rates shall be invoiced for work performed on the following Holidays: • New Year’s Day • Memorial Day • July 4th • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day / Day after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day 3. Per Diem will be billed to the client days worked. 4. All onboarding activities are to be reimbursed to ISG per the above billing rates. These include, but are not limited to: • Time spent during client orientation • Time spent during client safety training • Time spent performing background checks and drug screening Cost associated with background checks and drug screening will be reimbursed to ISG. 5.
