A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,

TO ATTEND MEETINGS FROM MAY 2025 THROUGH MAY 2026; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to provide for voting representation at
the Miami -Dade League of Cities meetings throughout the coming year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Appointment of Delegate and Alternate. The following members of the City
Commission are hereby appointed for one year as delegate and alternate to represent the City
of Sunny Isles Beach at the Miami -Dade League of Cities meetings:

RE: Appointing Delegates to the Miami -Dade League of Cities for 2025-2026
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this Resolution.
REASONS:
The designation of one city official and an alternate, in his/her absence, needs to be authorized to vote
on Miami -Dade League of Cities (M DCLC) matters. This resolution designates
as the delegate, and as the alternate, from May 2025 through May 2026.
Any elected official may attend a League meeting at any time. The purpose of these designations is
solely for voting authority.
