MEMORANDUM
TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners
VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager.
FROM: Tiffany D. Neely, Finance Director.
DATE: J u ly 17, 2025
RE: Approval of Budget Amendment BA2425-05 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this ordinance.
REASONS:
This budget amendment is necessaryto record the following transactions:
a. Transfer $52,053 designated for a city-wide pool vehicle in the Fleet department. This amount
was previously reflected in the City Manager's department in budget amendment BA2425-04.
b. Allocate $32,973 for three vehicles transferred from the Building Department - one to Code
Compliance and two to Parking Compliance. Because these vehicles were originally purchased
with restricted funds, their current value must be reimbursed to the Building Department upon
transfer.
c. Allocate $32,973 to Building Fund revenues for the transfer of three department vehicles - one to
Code Compliance and two to Parking Compliance. Please reference item B above.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• All 3 vehicles were 2017 Ford Escape SE models.
• Units 1717 and 1718 were transferred from the Building Department to Parking Compliance,
while Unit 1720 was transferred to Code Compliance.
• Each vehicle was valued at $10,991 at the time of transfer, based upon its year, make, model and
mileage.
