A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING DANA GOLDMAN TO
FILL THE VACANCY FOR CITY COMMISSIONER SEAT 03;
PROVIDING FOR APPROVAL BY THE CITY CONIMISSION;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2.5 of the City Charter of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Florida;
provides the Mayor with the authority to fill a vacancy in the City Commission with the approval
of the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, by Virtue of the resignation of George `Bud" Scholl. City Commissioner
Seat 03, the seat is vacant until the Special Election on February 17, 2015.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Fillip) of City Commissioner Seat 03 Vacancy. The Mayor hereby nominates
and the Commission approves Dana Goldman to fill the Vacancy for City Commissioner Seat 03.
Section 2. Assumption of Duties. The aforementioned vacancy shall be filled until the
Special Election on February 17, 2015.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution will become effective upon adoption.
