FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW, PRE-ENGINEERED <br /> METAL BUILDING, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE H INURED THIRTY_FIVE <br /> THOUSAND T O LI11NDRED NINETY-FOUR DOL L ARC ANSI EIGHTEEN CENTS <br /> • <br /> ($135,294.18) ONE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETY-FOUR <br /> DOLLARS AND EIGHTEEN CENTS ($160,294.18), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT <br /> "A";AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT;AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br /> RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE'. <br /> WHEREAS, on September 19, 2024, via Resolution No. 2024-3717, the City Commission <br /> of the City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City") approved an Agreement with TEAM Contracting, Inc. <br /> (the "Contractor") to install the roof and walls of a new, pre-engineered metal building (the <br /> "Structure") for a workshop and storage for the City's Public Works Department, in an amount <br /> not to exceed $290,000.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, Phase I is nearing completion; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Contractor has provided the City with a proposal for the excavation, <br /> foundation, and installation of utilities to the Structure; and <br /> WHEREAS, during the City Commission meeting of May 15. 2025. and prior to approval, <br /> the City Commission amended this resolution to include soundproofing of the building in an <br /> additional amount not to exceed $25,000.00; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Commission wishes to approve a First Amendment to the Agreement <br /> with the Contractor, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty Five Thousand Two <br /> Hundred Nrncty Four Dollars and Eighteen Cents ($135,294481 One Hundred Sixty Thousand <br /> Two Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars and Eighteen Cents ($160,294.18), attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br /> ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Approval of First Amendment. The City Commission hereby approves a First <br /> Amendment to the Agreement with the Contractor, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred <br /> .
