A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CONIMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -2284 ESTABLISHING A
SCHEDULE FOR CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 2015 BY ABOLISHING THE
SCHEDULED WORKSHOPS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 18. 2014 via Resolution No. 2014 -2284. the City
Commission established a schedule of City Commission meetings for calendar year 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to abolish the City Commission Workshops
scheduled on the third Tuesday of the month beginning at 10:00 a.m. for review of the City
Commission meeting agenda.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CON MISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Abolish Commission Workshops for Agenda Review. The City Commission
hereby abolishes the City Commission Workshops scheduled on the third Tuesday of the month
to review the upcoming City Commission Meeting agenda.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

RE: Resolution Abolishing Cite Commission Workshops for Agenda Review
RECOMMENDATION:
The attached Resolution is presented for your consideration.
REASONS:
On September 18, 2014, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2014 -2284 establishing a
schedule for Cite Commission NleetinQs for calendar vear 2015. The schedule includes
reserving the third Tuesday of the month for City Commission Workshops to review the
upcoming City Commission meeting agenda. At the December 16, 2014 City Commission
Workshop it was determined that the Workshops are not needed.
