HomeMy WebLinkAboutADDENDUM #1 RFP 26-04-01 CITYWIDE HOLIDAY LIGHTING AND DECORATING SERVICES/ ADDENDUM # 1 REVISIONS DATE: APRIL 17, 2026 TO: ALL PLANHOLDERS FROM: PURCHASING DIRECTOR RFP NO.: RFP 26-04-01 CITYWIDE HOLIDAY LIGHTING AND DECORATING SERVICES SUBJECT: ADDENDUM NO. 1 PLEASE NOTE RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM BY COMPLETING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ADDENDA’ WITH YOUR PROPOSAL’S SUBMISSION. Revision 1: ORIGINAL PAGE 12 2.4 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (MQRS) A. The Proposer and/or Sub-contractor shall hold the proper license in the State of Florida to perform the Scope of Work set forth within this solicitation to include being registered as a Certified Electrical Contractor with the State of Florida along with registration to conduct business in the State of Florida in all required disciplines, as required by the City’s requirements based on the proposed electrical work. REVISION 1: REVISED PAGE 12 2.4 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (MQRS) A. The Proposer and/or Sub-contractor shall hold the proper license in the State of Florida to perform the Scope of Work set forth within this solicitation to include being registered as a Certified Electrical Contractor with the State of Florida along with registration to conduct business in the State of Florida in all required disciplines, as required by the City’s requirements based on the proposed electrical work, if applicable to electrical design plan. Firms proposing installation limited strictly to temporary, plug‑and‑play decorative elements that do not alter, extend, or connect to fixed electrical systems are not required to hold a Certified Electrical Contractor’s license. Revision 2: ORIGINAL PAGE 11: 2.1 SCOPE OF WORK: The lighting and decoration shall be installed, maintained, stored, and removed during the holiday season between mid-November and early January (the “Holiday Lighting Season”). For the 2026 holiday season, the lighting and decorations shall be installed and ready for lighting no later than November 16, 2026, and complete removal by January 31, 2027. Revision 2: REVISED PAGE 11: 2.1 SCOPE OF WORK: The lighting and decoration shall be installed, maintained, stored, and removed during the holiday season between mid-November and early January (the “Holiday Lighting Season”). For the 2026 holiday season, the lighting and decorations shall be installed and ready for lighting. The awarded contractor must be on site and available to immediate address any issues during the 2026 Holiday Lighting Ceremony, expected to take place at Gateway Park in November 2026.
