We understand that the City of Sunny Isles Beach has city-sponsored events already scheduled for Spring 2015 and we would like to meet with the Athletic Coordinator as soon as possible to secure mutually-agreeable times and start on our practice and game schedule. As you are aware, NMBLL is a non-profit organization under the National Little League umbrella which promotes baseball and softball to children between the ages of 4-16. We expect approximately 250 children to participate during the 2015 season, including many who live in Sunny Isles Beach. Once again, we would like to honor the City of Sunny Isles Beach with a sponsorship of a team in our Rookies or Minors Junior Division. This team will mainly consist of players who live within Sunny Isles Beach and practice and play primarily at Pelican Park. As in years past, initially we hereby request the following days and times beginning with Monday,January 5, 2015 through July 15, 2015: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 5:00 PM —9:00 PM Tuesday and Thursday: 5:00 PM —9:00 PM Saturdays: 8:00 AM—9:00 PM Sundays: 8:00 AM—6:00 PM We are aware that City of Sunny Isles Beach events take precedence over NMBLL activities and will work with the City of Sunny Isles Beach to identify the dates and times in advance, so as not to schedule conflicting events. We cannot thank you enough for everything you and the City of Sunny Isles Beach have done to improve our Little League over the years. We look forward to the continued involvement of the Sunny Isles Beach community within 1 our Little League. As you may already be aware, we have some special events planned during that time that would impact the Saturday / Sunday requests and possibly other dates. I have my staff reviewing your request so that we can provide a list of dates that the field would not be available. I'll be in touch in early January. Thank you.
