AOM Events / Miami Holiday Lights has received international
recognition as a top event producer and designer. The firm was featured
in industry magazines and trade publications, and was selected by
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) 4 the world's largest meeting
and event industry association 4 to produce its prestigious Stella
Award-winning events. AOM Events produced MPI national conventions
both in Denver, Colorado and at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, earning
recognition as one of the industry's premier production companies.
AOM Events was selected by the Miami-Dade County / Greater Miami
Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Palm Beach Convention & Visitors
Bureau to produce the official media booths at four (4) Super Bowls 4
twice in Tampa and twice in Miami 4 as well as National Championship
Games. These productions required precision coordination with national
broadcast media, sponsors, and government agencies in high-security,
high-traffic environments.
AOM Events was selected as the official ribbon-cutting producer for the
newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center, producing the first-
ever event held inside the facility. This grand opening was produced by
Dan Vazquez, Owner and Lead Producer of AOM Events / Miami Holiday
Lights 4 a milestone that demonstrates the firm's standing as a trusted
partner for landmark public events.
AOM Events / Miami Holiday Lights holds an active multi-year contract
with Miami-Dade County for holiday lighting and décor at Miami
International Airport (MIA). Under this contract, the company designed,
created, and installed a comprehensive holiday lighting program across
the North, Central, and South Terminals, including 62 exterior palm trees.
The team invented and engineered a custom installation system for the
new outdoor Miami Gardens area at the airport, suspending thousands
of RGB light strands with kinetic, tropical movement effects that
corresponded to the underground garage floor stacks below 4
transforming structural elements into illuminated holiday chimneys
featuring dynamic spheres, purple lights, and immersive visual
experiences for the millions of passengers traveling through MIA.
AOM Events was selected by Seminole Casino to design and produce
"Winterland Wonderland," a large-scale holiday destination experience 4
demonstrating the firm's ability to deliver immersive, themed holiday
environments for high-profile clients.
Since January 17, 2001, AOM Events / Miami Holiday Lights has
produced over 1,000 events and installations, establishing one of the
most extensive track records of any production company in South
Florida.
The firm's financial strength is confirmed through its active Miami-Dade
County Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certification, valid through 2029.
AOM Events / Miami Holiday Lights is a certified minority-owned
company, further demonstrating its standing as a qualified, compliant,
and financially stable contractor.

Section Approach & Methodology
Miami Holiday Lights approaches every project with the mindset of a world-class event production company because that is
the foundation of who we are. For more than two decades, our organization has successfully planned, produced, executed,
maintained, and dismantled over 1,000 events and large-scale productions throughout South Florida and nationally.
Our experience extends far beyond holiday décor installations. We have managed productions with immovable deadlines,
complex logistics, multiple stakeholders, and nationally recognized expectations. From Super Bowl productions to national
championship events, to producing the MPI Worldwide Convention in Miami and the historic Fontainebleau closing
celebration, our company has built its reputation on delivering flawless productions under pressure.
These events do not allow flexibility for delays or missed deadlines. They require precise coordination, rapid problem-solving,
and the ability to adapt in real time. This experience has shaped the operational methodology we bring to every municipal
holiday installation project.
Our methodology is built around five core phases:
Pre-Planning & Logistics Coordination
Every project begins with detailed planning, sourcing, scheduling, and operational coordination. Our project management
team develops a comprehensive production schedule that outlines:
Plan Ahead
Set procurement
timelines early so every
order is in motion before
install week.
Deliver Smoothly
Coordinate delivery
schedules to keep
materials arriving exactly
when crews need them.
Build in Order
Map installation
sequencing to keep
every phase efficient and
on track.
Manage Access
Align traffic/MOT
coordination to protect
public safety and jobsite
flow.
Staff Smart
Assign the right people
and equipment so every
crew is fully prepared.
Equip Fully
Allocate tools and
resources before
deployment to avoid
unnecessary delays.
Protect Standards
Confirm safety
requirements before
work begins and
throughout every site
visit.
Maintain Momentum
Build maintenance
scheduling into the plan
so support is proactive,
not reactive.
Close Cleanly
Set strike/removal
timelines in advance for
a smooth, fully managed
teardown.
All departments within our company are aligned through our proprietary project management and logistics systems, allowing
real-time communication between project managers, warehouse teams, installers, accounting, vendors, and client
representatives.
Sourcing & Quality Control
Our warehouse and logistics teams operate through a fully integrated inventory and management system that tracks all
materials, décor elements, electrical components, equipment, and installation assets. Multiple validation checkpoints are
implemented to ensure all deliverables are accounted for prior to deployment.
This process minimizes installation delays and ensures every crew arrives fully prepared with the proper equipment, supplies,
and resources necessary to complete installations efficiently and professionally.
Professional Installation Execution
Our installation crews are led by seasoned team leaders with a minimum of three to four years of field experience managing
holiday lighting and décor installations.
Each crew operates under the direct supervision of production management, ensuring:
Installation Schedules
Safety Compliance
Quality Verification
Real-Time Issue Response
Using our proprietary systems and Connecteam communication platform, our field teams receive live updates, installation
notes, assignments, location tracking, photographs, and task management in real time. This allows all departments to remain
fully informed throughout the duration of the project.
If field conditions require adjustments, those changes are instantly communicated across all departments, ensuring rapid
response and operational continuity without delaying the overall project schedule.
Proactive Maintenance & Client Support
One of the most important aspects of our methodology is proactive maintenance management.
Once displays are operational, our maintenance division actively monitors all installations throughout the season. Our teams
routinely inspect displays during nighttime operating hours to ensure all lighting and décor elements remain fully functional
and visually consistent.
Most maintenance corrections are completed before clients are even aware an issue existed.
Our service vehicles remain stocked with replacement inventory, lighting components, electrical supplies, and repair
materials, allowing immediate onsite resolution when needed.
As an added value, Miami Holiday Lights provides clients with access to our service management platform where authorized
personnel may:
Request Submission
Submit service requests
quickly
Real-Time Tracking
Track maintenance
activity live
Response Visibility
View response times
clearly
Resolution Updates
Monitor issue resolution
and accountability
This level of transparency and responsiveness is a significant advantage that distinguishes our company from traditional
lighting contractors.
Strike, Removal & Post-Project Evaluation
At the conclusion of the season, our crews professionally dismantle and remove all décor elements using the same organized
procedures implemented during installation.
All MOT requirements, cleanup standards, and site restoration procedures are strictly followed to ensure locations are
returned to their original condition.
Following removal, Miami Holiday Lights conducts:
Final client walkthroughs
Site verification inspections
Operational reviews
Post-season evaluations
Final
Walkthrough
Detailed
examination and
scrutiny.
Site Verification
Confirming
location and
readiness.
Operational Review
Checking
processes and
compliance.
Post-Season Eval
Reviewing
performance after
completion.
We believe continuous improvement is critical to long-term success. Our team evaluates both successes and challenges
from each season to further enhance efficiency, quality, and client experience for future years.

This operational transparency ensures all stakeholders remain informed throughout every phase of the project.
Most importantly, our experience producing large-scale deadline-driven events has prepared our company to successfully
adapt when challenges arise. Every production encounters unforeseen variables; success depends on the ability to
anticipate, communicate, and resolve issues quickly without impacting the overall project timeline.
That operational discipline is what Miami Holiday Lights brings to every project we undertake.
We look forward to the opportunity to partner with the City of Sunny Isles Beach for the 2026 and 2027 holiday seasons and
deliver a professionally executed, visually impactful, and seamlessly managed holiday program for the community.

Section Exceptions Exceptions to the RFPLoss, Theft & Vandalism Responsibility
Due to the nature, scale, and public accessibility of the holiday lighting and décor installations, Miami Holiday Lights requests
the following exception and clarification to the RFP terms:
The Client shall be responsible for any loss, theft, vandalism, or intentional damage to holiday décor, lighting systems,
electrical components, specialty displays, or related event infrastructure occurring after installation and acceptance of the
displays.
While Miami Holiday Lights will provide routine maintenance and repair services as outlined within the agreement, repairs or
replacements resulting from:
Theft
Vandalism
Intentional destruction
Vehicle impact
Public misuse
Extreme abuse or negligence by third parties
shall be considered outside normal maintenance coverage.
In order to maintain the visual quality and operational continuity of the event and holiday displays, Miami Holiday Lights will
make commercially reasonable efforts to replace damaged or stolen materials as inventory and product availability allow. Any
replacement labor, materials, equipment, shipping, fabrication, or emergency service costs associated with such incidents
shall be billed as an additional service to the Client at agreed-upon rates.
Miami Holiday Lights recommends:
Adequate overnight security
Surveillance monitoring where applicable
Coordination with local law enforcement
Controlled access to high-value installations
to minimize exposure to theft, vandalism, and public damage during the installation period.
RFP 26-04-01 – Citywide Holiday Lighting & Decorating…91
Section Cont.
Miami Holiday Lights shall not be held responsible for any damage, deterioration, or condition changes to the grounds, grass,
landscaping, irrigation, or surrounding park areas at Gateway Park or any other installation location during the period in which
décor and lighting installations remain on-site.
Due to the nature of public parks and event venues, these locations may host additional public events, vendors, contractors,
maintenance crews, or activities over the course of the installation period, including multi-week or multi-month activations,
which are entirely outside of Miami Holiday Lights’ control. As such, Miami Holiday Lights cannot be responsible for damages
or ground conditions caused by third parties, weather, heavy foot traffic, equipment usage, or other external factors.
While Miami Holiday Lights takes every reasonable precaution during installation and removal to minimize impact to the
property, certain installation methods require stakes, anchors, supports, and placement of décor directly on grass or
landscaped areas to ensure safety and structural stability. In some cases, décor may remain in the same location for
extended periods of time, which can naturally result in discoloration, wear, or dead patches of grass beneath the installation.
Miami Holiday Lights shall not be liable for any turf, grass, irrigation, landscaping, or ground-related issues that may occur as
a result of standard installation practices, extended décor placement, environmental conditions, or activities outside of our
