Action: Commissioner Joseph moved, and Commissioner Stuyvesant seconded the motion to
approve the minutes and was approved by a voice vote of 5-0.
4. ORDER OF BUSINESS (Additions/Deletions/Amendments)
Add On: 10F: A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,
Approving an Amendment to the Rental Agreement between the City of Sunny Isles Beach
and La Playa Beach Associates, for the property located at 215185th Street, Sunny Isles Beach,
Florida; Additional Information: 7A: An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Amending Sections 256-4 "Purpose", 256-6 "Definitions", 256-9
"Issuance and Renewal of Permits/Decals; Application", 256-10 "Revocation of
Permits/Decals", 256-11 "Exclusion of Certain Vehicles", 256-14 "Parking Rates & Fees", 256-
15 "Authority of City Manager", and 256-16 "Term of Permits/Decals; Transfer", of Chapter
256, Article II of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sunny Isles Beach; Repealing Section
256-12 "Hours Permits Are Valid", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sunny Isles Beach

Action: Commissioner Stuyvesant moved, and Commissioner Joseph seconded the motion to
approve the changes to the Agenda and was approved by a voice vote of 5-0.

Entitled "Official City Logo"; Creating a New Section 5-36 Entitled "Penalties"; Providing for
Repealer; Providing for Severability; Providing for Codification; Providing for an Effective Date.
Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title into the record, and City Manager Stan
Morris reported.
Public Speakers: Bardmesser, George. Commissioner Stuyvesant added to the record an
email she received where the City Logo was misused in a past campaign and also where false
reference was made towards Commissioner Joseph.
Commissioner Stuyvesant moved, and Commissioner Viscarra seconded a motion to adopt the
Ordinance on second and final reading. Ordinance No. 2024-613 was approved by a roll call
vote of 5-0 in favor.

10A. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving a
Third Amendment to the Agreement with Academy Bus, LLC for Motor Coach Transportation
Services, in an Amount Not to Exceed $95,000.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"; Authorizing
the Mayor to Execute Said Amendment; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things
Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date.
Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title, and City Manager Stan Morris reported.

Amendment to the Agreement with Green Facilities, Inc. to Provide Carpet and Floor
Maintenance Services, in an Amount Not to Exceed $215,500.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit
"A"; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Amendment; Authorizing the City Manager to Do
All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date.

Landscaping Maintenance Services for City Right -of -Ways and Facilities, in an Amount Not to
Exceed $160,000.00; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Amendment; Authorizing the City
Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective
Date.

Said Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate the
Terms of this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date.
