AGENDA CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS The meeting was called to order by Vice Mayor Lama at 6:15 p.m. with the following officials present: Mayor Larisa Svechin (absent) Vice Mayor Alex Lama Commissioner Jerry Joseph Commissioner Fabiola Stuyvesant Commissioner Jeniffer Viscarra PUBLIC HEARING City Manager Stan Morris City Clerk Mauricio Betancur, CIVIC City Attorney Alain Boileau Discussion and Action on a Recommendation to Amend the Text of the Future Land Use Element of the Adopted Comprehensive Plan. Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title and Planning and Zoning Director Amy Canales reported. Public Speakers: Slavens, Tracy, LSN Partners. Commissioner Viscarra moved, and Commissioner Joseph seconded a motion to make recommendation to the City Commission. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 4-0 in favor. Vote: Commissioner Joseph yes Commissioner Stuyvesant yes Commissioner Viscarra yes Vice Mayor Lama yes Mayor Svechin absent 2B. Discussion and Action on a Recommendation of an Ordinance to Amend Chapter 265, Article VII, Section 265-44 of the Land Development Regulations, Entitled "Specific Use Regulations," by Establishing Procedures for the Review and Approval of Certified Recovery Residences and Creating a Process for Requesting a Reasonable Accommodation from any Land Use Regulation that Serves to Prohibit the Establishment of a Certified Recovery Residence in Accordance with Section 397.487(15)(A), Florida Statutes.
