CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS
The meeting was called to order by Vice Mayor Lama at 6:30 p.m. with the following officials
present:
Mayor Larisa Svechin (absent)
Vice Mayor Alex Lama
Commissioner Jerry Joseph
Commissioner Fabiola Stuyvesant
Commissioner Jeniffer Viscarra

City Attorney Alain Boileau
3A. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Accepting the
Results of the General Run -Off Election Held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024; Declaring Jerry
Joseph to Be Elected as Commissioner Seat 1; Discharging the Canvassing Board for the Run -
Off Election; Providing for an Effective Date.
Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title and and former Mayors Norman Edelcup
and Dana Goldman swore Commissioner Joseph in.
Commissioner Stuyvesant moved and Commissioner Viscarra seconded the motion for
approval. Resolution No. 2025-3770 was adopted by a voice vote of 4-0 in favor.
4. ADJOURNMENT

moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:45p.
