1. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS
The meeting was called to order by Vice Mayor Lama at 11:30 a.m. with the following officials
present:
Mayor Larisa Svechin (absent) City Manager Stan Morris

2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/INVOCATION
3. RESOLUTIONS
3A. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Awarding
Invitation to Bid No. 25-01-01 to, and Approving an Agreement with, Waypoint Contracting,
Inc. to Provide Construction Renovation Services for the Annex Building Located at 18050
Collins Avenue, in an Amount Not to Exceed $4,020,365.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A";
Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All
Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date.
Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title, and City Manager Stan Morris reported.
Public Speakers: none.
Commissioner Viscarra moved to defer this resolution. Having received no second, the
motion failed.
Commissioner Viscarra moved to approve the resolution. Vice Mayor Lama, as the presiding
officer, relinquished the chair and seconded the motion. The motion resulted in a tie, 2-2. As
a result, the status quo is maintained.
