A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A
REQUEST SUBMITTED BY PORSCHE DESIGN TOWER
M1AMI ("APPLICANT") TO ALLOW AN EXTERIOR COLOR
OUTSIDE THE APPROVED COLOR PALETTE FOR THE OFF-
SITE SALES CENTER LOCATED AT 17190 COLLINS AVENUE,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS EPICURE RESTAURANT;
PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY
WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY
TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on November 17th, 2011, pursuant to Resolution No. 11-Z-123, the City
approved the Porsche Design Tower Miami condominium project located at 18555 Collins
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, on or about February 4. 2015. the Applicant submitted a request to the City
of Sunny Isles Beach to allow an exterior wall color that is not within the approved exterior color
palette under Section 150-1 of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach ; and
WHEREAS.the City Commission wishes to approve the proposed exterior color to permit
the Applicant with the flexibility to maintain the designated color for the Porsche Design tower
Miami.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Color. The City Commission hereby approves the color requested by
the Applicant in accordance with Section 150-1 of the City Code, subject to the conditions below.
Section 2. Conditions of Approval. The Applicant is required to comply with the following
conditions:
1. The exterior color approved is Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black SW6258.
2. That the exterior wall is developed according to the design submitted under plans dated
and received by the City on February 4, 2015.
3. That the Applicant shall obtain all the required permits from the City and other
governmental entities.
Section 3. Authority of the City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and City
Attorney are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution.
Section 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

RE: PORSCHE DESIGN TOWER MIAMI – EPICURE COLOR SELECTION
Dear Ms. Hasbun:
We recently submitted a permit application to paint a portion of the existing Epicure
building Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black SW 6258. This color is currently not within the
palette approved by the Commission however it is approved under the overall Site Plan
for the project and it was approved for use and painted on the former Porsche Design
Tower Miami Sales Office formerly located at 18555 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach
prior to demolition a few month ago.
We have enclosed a proposed elevation of Epicure and the color sample along with a
$500.00 application fee. The re-installation of the Porsche Design Tower Miami P'0001
marquis sign will be submitted under separate cover, once the artwork is complete.
We respectfully request your approval of the Porsche Design color selection so we may
proceed with the work. Please contact me with any questions you may have.

Porsche Design Sales Center - Exterior Color Waiver
RE: PZ2015-03

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff does not have any objection to the exterior color waiver provided
that the conditions set forth are satisfied.
REASONS:
The Applicant is requesting approval for an exterior color waiver for
their off-site sales center located at 17190 Collins Avenue (Epicure
building). The proposal includes a section of the sales center,
specifically the eastern elevation to be painted with Sherwin Williams
Tricorn Black (SW6258), which is a color outside of the approved color
palette under Code Section 150-1.
