D. Project Approach and Understanding
RODRIGUEZ AND QUIROGA is a creative, innovative, design oriented professional
organization committed to a balanced approach to design – blending creativity with technical
competence to achieve architecture which is functionally efficient, aesthetically pleasing,
energy conserving, on schedule and on budget.
RODRIGUEZ AND QUIROGA believes that architecture is the art of response. In other words,
during the design and construction process, architects recommend, and owners decide.
Those recommendations will include the highest and best uses of the allocated budget to
provide practical solutions for the projects objectives. Financial and schedule controls are not
limitations to creativity, but an essential component to the design program.
RODRIGUEZ AND QUIROGA believes that architecture is also the science of building and managing the possible. Working with the owner, the design team will review the
programmatic materials prepared for this project and develop a design that uses the most cost
effective materials and methods for construction.
