City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida

AGENDA
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Samson at 7:04 p.m., with the following
officials present:
Mayor David Samson
Vice Mayor Norman S. Edelcup
Commissioner Gerry Goodman
Commissioner Danny Iglesias
Commissioner Lila Kauffman (Absent)
City Manager Christopher J. Russo
City Attorney Lynn M. Dannheisser
City Clerk Jane A. Hines
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Action: Mayor Samson made a welcoming statement and thanked the Commission and the
prior Commission, and Lewis J. Thaler led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
3. INVOCATION
Action: Richard C. Schulman gave an invocation.
4. INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS: City Clerk to Administer Oath of Office.
A. Re-Elected Danny Iglesias, Residential Area Commissioner, Seat 03, Southern Area;
B. Newly Elected Lewis J.Thaler,Residential Area Commissioner,Seat 01,Northern Area.
Action: City Clerk Hines administered the Oath of Office to the New Officers and
congratulated them:
City Commissioner Danny Iglesias
City Commissioner Lewis J. Thaler
Commissioner Iglesias and Commissioner Thaler then took their seats on the dais.

5. ADJOURNMENT
Vice Mayor Edelcup moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to adjourn the
meeting. The motion was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor and the meeting was
adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
