SECTION 01044 OPERATIONS IN ROADWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 GENERAL
A. CONTRACTOR shall obtain all necessary permits not obtained by ENGINEER,
and arrange all inspection required by the State, City, and County, and shall pay
all charges. He/she shall conform to all applicable Florida Department of
Transportation, Miami-Dade County, and City of Sunny Isles Beach rules and
regulations.
B. Portions of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the
Florida Department of Transportation, latest edition, and Supplement thereto
hereinafter referred to as the FDOT Specifications, are referred to and amended,
in part, and the same hereby made a part of this CONTRACT to the extent of such
references and shall be binding upon the CONTRACTOR.
C. Traffic flow shall be maintained in all areas of the work.
D. The CONTRACTOR shall take all means necessary to prevent accidents.
Sufficient flagmen, barricades, lights, signs and all other precautions necessary
shall be furnished to provide safe conditions.
E. Pavement: Replace damaged or destroyed street pavement, base, and subgrade
in complete accordance with the requirements of the controlling authority and the
Contract Documents.
F. Refer to Section 01570 for Traffic Control Requirements.
