RESOLUTION NO. 97-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A SURETY
BOND FOR THE CITY MANAGER AND
ESTABLISHING AMOUNT OF BOND PURSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY CHARTER;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 3.4 of the City Charter requires the City Manager to furnish a surety
bond to be approved by the City Commission and in such amount as the City Commission may fix;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Commission hereby authorizes the purchase of a surety bond
for the City Manger and establishes the amount of said bond at ONE
MILLION ($I,OOO,OOO.OO)DOLLARS.
Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th November, 1997.
