RESOLUTION NO. 99-Z-36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, DENYING PUBLIC
STORAGE'S REQUEST FOR NON-USE VARIANCE TO PERMIT
VEmCLE STORAGE AREA WITHOUT THE REQUIRED
ENCLOSURE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc., has applied for the following:
I. Non Use Variance of Zoning Regulations requiring to an 8 foot high wall enclosing the
vehicle storage area; to waive same to omit the wall.
2. Non Use Variance of Zoning Regulations requiring to a landscape buffer between the
masonry wall and abutting road ways; to waive same to provide no landscaping buffer.
3. Non Use Variance of Zoning Regulations requiring the area of self storage facilities be
not less than 2.5 acres; to waive same to permit an existing self storage facility with an
area of 0.91 acres.
SUBJECT PROPERTY: Lots 9 and 10, less right-of-way lying in Sunny Isles Boulevard,
Bella Vista Subdivision 2nd Revision, Plat Book 50 Page 76, Dade
County.
ADDRES: 301 Sunny Isles Ocean Boulevard
And,
WHEREAS, a public hearing of the City Commission was advertised and held as
required by law and all interested parties concerned in the matter were heard, and upon due and
proper consideration having been given to the matter and to the negative recommendation of the
Zoning and Code Administrator;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. The Commission hereby denies this application without prejudice.
2. This Resolution becomes effective upon adoption.
