RESOLUTION NO. 00 -Z- 44
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, DENYING THE
REQUEST OF CENTURY TOWERS ASOCIATION, FOR NON-
USE VARIANCE OF ZONING REGULATIONS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Century Towers Association has applied for the following:
1. Non Use Variance of Zoning Regulations requiring retail uses and offices in an
apartment development for the need of the habitants of the same complex; to waive same
to permit retail uses and offices for the general public.
2. Non Use Variance of Zoning Regulations prohibiting aforementioned retail uses and
offices from providing any form of signs to be visible from the public right of way; to
waive same to permit a detach sign visible from the public right of way.
SUBJECT PROPERTY: Tract "B" Kings Point PB 75-43
ADDRESS: 100 Kings Point Drive
And,
WHEREAS, a public hearing of the City Commission was advertised and held as
required by law and all interested parties concerned in the matter were heard, and upon due and
proper consideration having been given to the matter;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. Applicant's requests, Items 1 and 2 hereinabove, are hereby denied without prejudice.
2. This Resolution becomes effective upon adoption.

zoning modifications based on staffs negative recommendations, and upon a roll call the vote
