RESOLUTION NO. 97-6
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING
MAYOR TO SEEK PROPOSALS FOR CITY CLERK.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach was incorporated on June 16, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission was elected on July 29, 1997, and has begun setting
official City meetings; and
WHEREAS, the Charter requires a City Clerk to be present to record all such meetings.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to seek proposals for City Clerk on terms
competitive with surrounding municipalities.
Section 2. The effective date of this Resolution is upon adoption.
ADOPTED AND PASSED this 7th day of August, 19';
