RESOLUTION NO. 98-27
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES
BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING "THE CITY OF SUN AND
SEA" AS THE SLOGAN OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES
BEACH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE,
WHEREAS, on January 8, 1998, by Ordinance the City adopted its official seal for the
City of Sunny Isles Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City's constituency and the Commission of the City of Sunny Isles
Beach expressed the desire to also adopt an official City slogan;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT;
1. The official City slogan for the City of Sunny Isles Beach shall be the "City of Sun
and Sea".
2. This slogan shall be placed below the official seal adopted on January 8, 1998, for
the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
3. This Resolution shall become effective upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th Day of January, 1998.
