RESOLUTION No. 98- 51
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES
BEACH, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING LIEN SEARCH FEES AND SETTING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City receives requests from private companies to provide information regarding
code enforcement liens; and
WHEREAS, there are costs to the taxpayer when these private companies request City staff to
verify these liens; and
WHEREAS, it is the City's objective to reimburse the General Fund for lien research expenses;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended a fee schedule and has provided it for
consideration by the City Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF SUNNY
ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That the following lien search fees apply:
A. Less than 24 hours:
B. Within a week:
$50.00
$25.00
Section 2.
That the requesting party shall pay a fee as per the above schedule by choosing one
of the two listed service levels.
Section 3.
That this Resolution shall become effective upon its ado
