RESOLUTION NO. 9S-n
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING AND IMPOSING THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE LEVY
RATE AT 2.399 MILLS PER ONE THOUSAND ($1000)
DOLLARS OF TAXABLE ASSESSED VALUE; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County, Florida, served upon the City
of Sunny Isles Beach a "certification of 1998 taxable value"; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S., the City of Sunny Isles Beach has furnished
to the County Property Appraiser, the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and place at which
public hearings will be held to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative budget;
WHEREAS, the Commission, by motion, agreed to establish the proposed millage rate at
2.399 mils per one thousand;
WHEREAS, the Commission must first establish a tentative millage rate prior to
consideration of adoption of a proposed budget;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The millage rate is hereby established and imposed as 2.399 per One Thousand
($1000) Dollars of assessed value of the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
Section 2.
This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 5th day of October, 1998.
