HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 99-149RESOLUTION NO.99-1�n A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING BEACH FRONT PARK BID AWARD TO COAST TO COAST CONSTRUCTION AND RESTORATION, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $609,885.00 SUBJECT, HOWEVER, TO THE PROCUREMENT OF A PERMIT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on or about May 28, 1999, an invitation to bid was published for the landscape, irrigation & restroom facilities of the oceanfront park in Sunny Isles Beach; and WHEREAS, on or about June 24, 1999, the bids were submitted and opened in accordance with Ordinance No. 97-10; and WHEREAS, after substantial review and analysis the City Manager has determined the lowest responsible and responsive bidder was Coast to Coast Construction and Restoration, Inc.: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Bid Award. The award of Request for Bid No. 99-05-02 published on May 28, 1999, be and the same is hereby awarded to Coast to Coast Construction and Restoration, Inc., in accordance with its bid proposal dated June 24, 1999, received by the City on even date, in the total amount of $609,885.00, provided however, the award of this bid is subject to the procurement, by the City of Sunny Isles Beach, of a permit from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. In the event that permit is not secured this bid shall not be deemed to have been awarded. 2. Effective Date.
