A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING
CQVV:I2 movrovJ AS VICE MAYOR FOR A PERIOD
OF ONE YEAR; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the §2.2(b) of the City Charter of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,
provides that the City Commission shall elect one of its members as Vice Mayor at the first
Commission meeting after each regular City Election.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:

SUBJECT: SELECTION OF VICE MAYOR
RECOMN'IENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission select a Commissioner to serve as Vice Mayor for
the next year.
REASONS:
City Charter §2.2(b) requires the City Commission to "...elect one of its members as Vice -
Mayor" at the first Commission meeting after each regular City Election. The attached
Resolution will memorialize the selection.
