A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING

TO TIIE MIAMI-DADE LEAGUE OF CITIES FROM THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND Qarw►,4%1yraA ULv_ Kau&a...,
AS THE ALTERNATE TO ATTEND MEETINGS DURING THE
1999-2000 BUDGET YEAR; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the installation of this year's officers for the Miami -Dade League of Cities
will occur on October 7, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to be represented at the Miami -Dade
League of Cities throughout the coming year;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following Commissioners are appointed as delegate and alternate to represent the
City of Sunny Isles Beach:
A. Delegate: S0_AeV%4eti.
B. Alternate:
2. This Resolution will become effective upon adoption.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Commission, by resolution, appoint a representative and
an alternate representative to the Miami -Dade League of Cities.
REASONS
One city official and an alternate in his/her absence needs to be authorized to vote on
Miami -Dade League matters.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The current one year term expired September 30, 1999. We therefore need to go through
the process of designating a representative and an alternate to the Miami -Dade League of
Cities. For your information, any elected official may attend a League meeting at any time.
The purpose of the above representative and alternate is solely for voting authority.
