A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, INSTRUCTING THE
MANAGER TO MAKE CLERICAL SUPPORT AVAILABLE TO
CITY COMMISSIONERS FOR WORK RELATED TO CITY
BUSINESS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach now has a number of committees which have
generated a lot of activities; and
WHEREAS, heretofore there has been a lack of clerical assistance for the Commissioners;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Clerical Assistance. The Manager is hereby instructed to provide clerical assistance to City
Commissioners.
2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

RE: CLERICAL SUPPORT RESOLUTION
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached Resolution.
REASONS
For the last couple of months I have witnessed an increase in correspondence generated
from both my position as Chair of Fashion, Film and Entertainment Council and as a
Commissioner. I would like to have the opportunity to respond to this correspondence
and request that the Commission instruct the Manager to make clerical personnel available
for work related to City business.
