RESOLUTION NO. 2000-~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE
SCHEMATIC DESIGNS FOR THE CITY HALL PRESENTED AT
THE WORKSHOP AND TOWN HALL MEETINGS HELD ON
JANUARY 24, 2000, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING SPILLIS
CANDELA TO COMMENCE WORK ON THE DESIGN PHASE
OF THE CITY HALL; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Commission called a workshop Town Hall meeting to
review the schematic designs for the City Hall on January 24, 2000; and
WHEREAS, that workshor for the Commission and subsequent Town Hall meeting for
the public was held on January 24t wherein an overwhelming consensus was reached to proceed
with the design of the City Hall as proposed;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. Approval of Schematic Design. The City Commission hereby approves the schematic
designs as presented at the workshop and Town Hall meetings on January 24, 2000 and further
authorizing Spillis Candela to proceed with the design phase of the City Hall as presented.
2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall beco effective upon adoption. ~. '0, WOO
