RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 2-' 3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, RE-APPOINTING MANUEL RAMOS
AS SPECIAL MASTER, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY ORDINANCE
NO. 98-57; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Code Enforcement Ordinance 98-57 provides that Special Masters may be
reappointed at the discretion of the City Manager for a term of one year, subject to ratification by
the Commission; and
WHEREAS, Manuel Ramos (retired N.Y. Judge) has served as our Special Master since
the Special Master program began in 1998; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager is recommending the reappointment of Manuel Ramos as
Special Master;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
I. Reappointment. Manuel Ramos, be and hereby is, reappointed as Special Master
pursuant to City Code Enforcement Ordinance 98-57 for a term of one year.
2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of April, 2000.
