RESOLUTION NO. 2000-~(
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE DESIGN DRAWINGS FOR
THE NEW CITY HALL/GOVERNMENT CENTER AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING SPILLIS CANDELA TO COMMENCE WORK ON THE
CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS OF THE NEW CITY HALL/GOVERNMENT
CENTER; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission is required to approve design drawings for the new
City Hall/Government Center prior to the architects proceeding to the construction drawing
phase; and
WHEREAS, the design drawings as presented meet all the requirements and objectives
ofthe City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. Approval of the Design Drawing. The City Commission hereby afproves the design
drawings for the new City Hall/Government Center as presented April 2t , 2000, and further
authorizes Spillis Candela to commence work on the construction drawing phase of the new
City Hall/Government Center.
2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
