A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FROM LANDSCAPE
STRUCTURES INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $49,500; TO BE
INSTALLED AT THE PASSIVE PARK LOCATED AT
NORTH BAY ROAD AND 17STH DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is developing parks and recreational venues
for its residents; and
WHEREAS, and in order to ensure the development of the park; and
WHEREAS, the addition of a playground would offer a recreational outlet for children,
their parents and grandparents.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AS FOLLOWS:
Section I Contract Approval. The City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase and
install playground equipment from Landscape Structures INC, for a total cost of $49,500, at the
passive park located at North Bay Road and 17Sth Drive.
Section 2
Effective Date.
This resolution becomes effective upon adoption.
