EXHIBIT A
PRIORITIZED LIST OF
ANTICIPATED STATE APPROPRIATION REQUESTS
. Stormwater - Goldenshores Upgrades and Central Island Installation
Cost: $6,000,000 Request: $3,000,000
Reason: Health and Life/Safety Issues, Property Protection, Environmental
Preservation, Improved Storm Recovery, etc.
. Police - Defibrillators for 20 New Vehicles
Cost: $150,000 Request: $112,500 - $150,000 (match with existing defibrillators
or $25% contribution)
Reason: All vehicles should be fully equipped with First Aid/Life Saving devices,
Existing defibrillators have already saved three (3) lives, Demographics prone to
heart problems, Police normally first on the scene, etc.
. Police - Report Software Purchase
Cost: $150,000 Request: $112,500
Reason: Police are presently without a functionally efficient system for Records
Management, Computer Aided Dispatch, Mobile Criminal/Traffic Checks, and
Mobile Reporting.
. Parks - FRDAP Grant Application: Active Park Acquisition
Cost: $400,000 Request: $200,000
Reason: The City must maximize undeveloped open green space before land values
become prohibitive. Reimbursement for Active Park acquisition would allow the
City to begin construction designs and development.
