RESOLUTION NO. 2001- ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF
TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) FROM ARCOS-l
PROJECT, TO BE UTILIZED FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN THE GILBERT
SAMSON MEMORIAL PARK; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS
RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, ARCOS-l Project has offered to donate $25,000 to the City of Sunny Isles
Beach to be utilized for improvements in the Gilbert Samson Memorial Park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to accept the donation for
improvements in its oceanfront park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISELS BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Acceptance of Donation. The City Commission hereby accepts the donation of
Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) from ARCOS-l Project, for the express purpose of
improvements in the Gilbert Samson Memorial Park.
Section 2. Authority of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all
things necessary to effectuate this resolution.
Section 3.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
