A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, SELECTING SUNNY ISLES DRY
CLEANERS, INC. TO PROVIDE DRY CLEANING SERVICES FOR THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $13,500.00;
AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXPEND SAID AMOUNT
FROM POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGETED FUNDS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is in need of dry cleaning
services for its Police uniforms to maintain the appearance and image of the Police Department;
and
WHEREAS, Sunny Isles Dry Cleaners, Inc. is located in the City of Sunny Isles Beach,
and was the most responsive bidder; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police is requesting authorization to select Sunny Isles Dry
Cleaners, Inc. to provide dry cleaning services for the Police Department, in an amount not to
exceed $13,500.00 from budgeted funds;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Selection of Vendor. Sunny Isles Dry Cleaners, Inc., is hereby approved as the
most responsive vendor for dry cleaning services for the Police Department, in an amount not to
exceed $13,500.00.
Section 2. Authorization of Chief of Police. Based on the attached memorandum, the Chief
of Police is hereby authorized to expend said amount from budgeted funds, to Sunny Isles Dry
Cleaners, Inc., for dry cleaning services for the Police Department.
Section 3.
Effective Date. This Resolution will become effective upon adoption.
