A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2001-410 ESTABLISHING A REVISED
SCHEDULE FOR CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS FOR THE
CALENDAR YEAR 2002, BY SCHEDULING A SPECIAL
CITY COMMISSION MEETING ON TUESDAY,
FEBRUARY 5, 2002; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to revise the
established schedule of City Commission meetings for the remainder of calendar year 2002 by
scheduling a Special City Commission meeting on Tuesday, February 5, 2002, at 7:30 p.m.,
to consider two Zoning policy issues regarding in-kind contributions for bonuses, and valuing of
Transfers of Development Rights (TDR's).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The schedule for City Commission meetings for calendar year 2002 shall be revised
as set forth herein:
Spec. Mtg at 6:30 p.m.
Spec. Mtg at 7:30 p.m.
5th Tuesday in January - Jan. 29,2002
1 st Tuesdav in February - Feb. 5. 2002
3rd Thursday in February: - Feb. 21,2002
3rd Thursday in March: - Mar. 21,2002
3rd Thursday in April: - Apr. 18,2002
2nd Thursday in May: - May 09, 2002
3rd Thursday in June: - June 20, 2002
3rd Thursday in July: - July 18,2002
No Meeting in August
3rd Thursday in September: - Sept. 19,2002
2nd Thursday in October - Oct. 10, 2002
2nd Thursday in November: - Nov. 14,2002
2nd Thursday in December: - Dec. 12,2002
Section 2.
This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

Resolution Scheduling a Special City Commission Meeting
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution.

REASONS:
At the City Commission Workshop held on January 10, 2002, there was a consensus to schedule
a Special City Commission meeting for Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at 7:30 p.m., to consider
the following two Zoning policy issues:
• In -kind contributions for bonuses; and
Valuing of Transfers of Development Rights (TDR's).
