A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND O'LEARY
DESIGN ASSOCIATES, P.A., ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A",
FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE LANDSCAPINGI
IRRIGATION PROJECT FOR KINGS POINT DRIVE (159m STREET),
IN A TOTAL AMOUNT OF FORTY-ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED
SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($41,175.00); AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO DO ALL TmNGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE
SAME; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is desirous of upgrading its landscapel
irrigation plan for Kings Point Drive (159th Street); and
WHEREAS, O'leary Design Associates, P.A. qualified to provide landscaping services
to the City by Resolution No. 2001-338, and the City has an existing Consultant Agreement with
O'leary Design Associates, P.A.; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
with O'Leary Design Associates, P.A., in a total amount of $41,175.00 ($39,975.00 plus
$1,200.00 for estimated reimbursable expenses), for professional design services for the
landscaping/irrigation project on Kings Point Drive (159th Street).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. ApDroval of an Agreement. The agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit "A",
between the City of Sunny Isles Beach and O'leary Design Associates, P.A., is hereby
approved.

Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into an agreement with O'Leary Design Associates, P.A. for professional design services for ~
landscaping/irrigation project on Kings Point Drive (159th Street), in a total amount of
$41,175.00, as reflected in Exhibit "A", and do all things necessary to effectuate the agreement.
Section 3.
Effective Date. This Resolution will become effective upon adoption.
