A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 98-98 THAT
CREATED A FASmON, FIL~ ENTERTAINMENT AND PRODUCTION
COUNCIL, AND DISSOLVING TIlE FASmON, FIL~ ENTERTAINMENT AND
PRODUCTION COUNCIL; PROVIDING TIlE AUTHORITY TO THE
CULTURAL AND HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO HANDLE THESE
ACTIVITIES; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO INFORM THE MEMBERS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to repeal Resolution No. 98-98, adopted on
November 12, 1998, that created the Fashion, Film, Entertainment and Production Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the activities of the Fashion, Film,
Entertainment and Production Council can be handled by the City's Cultural and Human Services
Department; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Rej>e8l of Resolution No. 98-98 Resolution No. 98-98, that created the Fashion, Film,
Entertainment and Production Council, is hereby repealed.
Section 2. Dissolution of the Fashion. Film. Entertainment and Production Council. The Fashion,
Film, Entertainment and Production Council is hereby dissolved and the authority to handle the
activities are hereby assigned to the Cultural and Hwnan Services Department.
Section 3. City Clerk to Provide Notification ~ Members. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
~xpress appreciation and to inform the members of the Fashion, Film, Entertainment and Production
Council of this decision.
Section 4. Effective Date. This resolution will become effective immediately upon adoption.
