A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
1001..316; APPROVING CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1 AND
SUPPLEMENTAL WORK ORDER TO CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH
PARKING METER PURCHASE, INSTALLATION AND
MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT, DATED APRIL 20, 1001, BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND STROYNE
BROTHERS SOUTH, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT
mOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTEEN DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-SIX
CENTS (58,415.86), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A";
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS
NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF CONTRACT
AMENDMENT NO.1; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City awarded a contract to Stroyne Brothers South Inc., being the only
bidder for Bid No. 01-03-04 for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of parking meters, on
April 17, 2001 via Resolution No. 2001-326; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to purchase and install six new
parking meters, relocate and re-install thirty-one (31) existing parking meters, and install thirty-
seven (37) decorative posts along Atlantic Boulevard between 178th Street and 183fd Street; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to approve Contract Amendment No. 1 and Supplemental
Work Order to City of Sunny Isles Beach Parking Meter Purchase, Installation and Maintenance
Agreement, Dated April 20, 2001, by and between the City of Sunny Isles Beach and Stroyne
Brothers South, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $8,415.86, attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Contr~t Amendment No.1 and Supplemental Work Order. Contract
Amendment No. 1 and Supplemental Work Order to City of Sunny Isles Beach Parking Meter
Purchase, Installation and Maintenance Agreement, Dated April 20, 2001, by and between the
City of Sunny Isles Beach and Stroyne Brothers South, Inc., in an amount not to exceed
$8,415.86, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is hereby approved.
Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all
things necessary to effectuate the terms of Contract Amendment No.1.

CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO.1
and SUPPLEMENTAL WORK ORDER
TO
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH PARKING METER PURCHASE, INSTALLATION
AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT, DATED APRIL 20, 2001, BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND STROYNE BROTHERS SOUTH, INC.
CONTRACT EXPIRATION:
MAY 1, 2004
The City of Sunny Isles Beach unilaterally exercises Paragraph No. 2 of the Contract for
Additional Services as specifically identified below:
I. Drill and install 37 parking meter poles
2. Install 37 decorative black sleeves
3. Move 31 parking meters from Causeway
4. Purchase and deliver 6 new Duncan Model 95 parking meters
TOTAL COSTS FOR SUPPLEMENTAL WORK ORDER (not to exceed): $8.415.86
ANTICIPATED DATE OF COMPLETION:

Work is to be performed under the terms and condition of the contract. In all other respect, the
terms and conditions of the contract, referenced above, remain the same.
The parties hereto hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Contract Amendment No. 1
and Supplemental Work Order as witnessed below.
