A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, DISCHARGING IRVING DIAMOND AS A
CANVASSING BOARD MEMBER FOR THE SEPTEMBER 9, 2003 GENERAL
ELECTION; DESIGNATING ONE REGISTERED VOTER WHO SHALL
SERVE WITH THE ACTING CITY CLERK AND EMANUEL PINE AS THE
CANVASSING BOARD FOR SAID GENERAL ELECTION; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, City Ordinances Number 99-65,2001-124, and 2003-170, provide for the City
Commission to designate two registered voters who shall serve with the City Clerk as the
Canvassing Board; and
WHEREAS, on July 17, 2003 the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2003-566,
designating Emanuel Pine and Irving Diamond to be the registered voters to serve on the
Canvassing Board with Jane A. Hines, Chairperson and Acting City Clerk, for the General
Election of September 9,2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Discharge Canvassing Board Member. The City Commission of the City of
Sunny Isles Beach hereby discharges Irving Diamond as a Canvassing Board member for the
September 9,2003, General Election.
Section 2. Designation Of One Registered Voter To Serve On The Canvassing Board. The
City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach hereby designates one registered voter,

Sunny Isles Beach's Canvassing Board for the September 9,2003, General Election.
Section 3.
Effective Date. This resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of August, 2003.
