RESOLUTION NO. 2004- ~ 3 L
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,
REAPPOINTING JUDGE MARSHALL ADER (RETIRED),
JUDGE ROBERT NEWMAN (RETIRED), AND DARCEE
SIEGEL AS SPECIAL MASTERS, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE
YEAR, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. 2001-141;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2001-141 provides that appointments of Special
Masters shall be made by the City Manager, as needed, on the basis of experience for a term of one
year; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance provides that reappointments shall be submitted to the City
Commission for ratification; and
WHEREAS, Judge Marshall Ader (retired), Judge Robert Newman (retired), and Darcee
Siegel were previously re-appointed last year, and they have acted as Special Masters for other
municipalities in Miami-Dade County;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Reappointments. The City Manager's reappointments of Judge Marshall Ader
(retired), Judge Robert Newman (retired), and Darcee Siegel as Special Masters, for a period of one
year, are hereby ratified by the City Commission, in accordance with Code Enforcement Ordinance
No. 2001-141.
Section 2.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of January, 2004.
