A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND
STROYNE BROS. SOUTH, INC., EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT FOR
ONE YEAR, FOR MAINTENANCE AND COLLECTION OF 120
PARKING METERS ON A WEEKLY BASIS, FOR A TOT AL MONTHLY
CHARGE OF $900.00, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHmIT "A";
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT AND DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY
TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THE ADDENDUM; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City awarded a contract to Stroyne Brothers South Inc., being the only
bidder for Bid No. 01-03-04 for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of parking meters, on
April 17, 2001 via Resolution No. 2001-326 and amended that contract via Resolution No. 2002-
492; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to enter into an addendum to the
agreement extending the agreement with Stroyne Brothers South Inc. for a one-year period, for
the maintenance and collection of 120 parking meters on a weekly basis, for a total monthly
charge of $900.00, attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Addendum to Agreement. Addendum to Agreement between the City
of Sunny Isles Beach and Stroyne Brothers South, Inc., extending the agreement for a one-year
period for the maintenance and collection of 120 parking meters on a weekly basis, for a total
monthly charge of $900.00, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is hereby approved.
Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all
things necessary to effectuate the terms of the Addendum to Agreement.
Section 3.

ADDENDUM TO STROYNE BROS. SOUTH. INC. AGREEMENT
THIS ADDENDUM, EXECUTED THIS ':2. , S}- DAY OF vY\ 4-Y , 2004,
shall be an integral part of the service agreement. In the event that any terms or conditions contained
herein conflict with the basic agreement, the terms and conditions of this addendum shall prevail.
1. EXTENSION OF CONTRACT. The parties have agreed to extend the contract upon its
expiration.
2. TERM. The agreement shall be extended for one year, provided, however, the City does not elect
to terminate the agreement pursuant to Section lOin the main agreement. This extension shall be subject
to appropriation of funds by the City Commission.
