A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 2004-675 ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE FOR CITY
COMMISSION MEETINGS FOR THE REMAINDER OF
CALENDAR YEAR 2004, BY ADDING SPECIAL CITY
COMMISSION MEETINGS ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2004
AND THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2004, AT 7:00 P.M., FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2004/05 BUDGET HEARINGS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to revise the
established schedule of City Commission meetings for the remainder of calendar year 2004 by
adding Special City Commission meetings on Thursday, September 9, 2004, and Thursday,
September 24, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., for Fiscal Year 2004/05 budget hearings; and having the
second meeting of the month, beginning in October, as an optional meeting, as needed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The schedule for City Commission meetings for calendar year 2004 shall be revised
as set forth herein:

This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

Re: Resolution Scheduling Two Special City Commission Meetings for Fiscal Year
2004/2005 Budget Hearings
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution amending the schedule
of City Commission meetings for the remainder of the year 2004, by calling two Special City
Commission Meetings for Thursday, September 9, 2004 and Thursday, September 23, 2004,
beginning at 7:00 p.m.
REASONS:
The Special City Commission meetings are for the purpose of establishing a Millage rate and
consideration of adoption of a proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2004/2005. Therefore it is
requested that the City Commission schedule a Special City Commission meeting on Thursday,
September 9, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., for the First Budget Hearing; and on Thursday, September 23,
2004, at 7:00 p.m., to adopt the Final Budget.
