RESOLUTION NO. 2004- W
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE DONATION FROM TRUMP GRANDE OCEAN
RESORT & RESIDENCES, OF THREE FIBERGLASS FIGURE
SCULPTURES; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE
AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE
THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is in the process of beautifying the parks
located in the City; and
WHEREAS, Trump Grande Ocean Resort & Residences have offered to donate three
fiberglass figure sculptures from the Days Inn Miniature Golf Course to the City, and the City
has the authority to accept donations as a non-profit municipal corporation; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept the three fiberglass figure sculptures consisting of
an Egg Man, Pig, and Tree, and intends to place the sculptures at a visible area within the City's
Parks,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Accepting Donation, The City Commission hereby accepts the donation from
Trump Grande Ocean Resort & Residences of the three fiberglass figure sculptures.
Section 2. Authority of City Manager. The City Manager has the authority to do all things
necessary to effectuate this Resolution.
Section 3.
Effective Date. This Resolution is effective upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of September, 2004.

Fiberglass Figures Sculptures (Three Items)
Dear Major Edelcup,
Attached are Three Fiberglass Figures which were located at the Days Inn
Miniature Golf Area. They are now being stored at the Golden Nugget Beach Club
at 18555 Collins avenue.
It is our pleasure to donate these items to the City of Sunny Isles Beach
to use as you wish. These items might be perfect for one of your parks.
As time goes by, other items might be available to the city.

RESIDENCES
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached resolution accepting a
donation from Trump Grande Ocean Resort & Residences of three (3) fiberglass figure
sculptures.
REASONS
The Trump Grande Ocean Resort has graciously offered to donate (3) fiberglass figures to the
City of Sunny Isles Beach. These figures were located at the Days Inn Miniature Golf course
and are of nostalgic value to the City. The figures are an Egg Man, Pig and a Tree.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Currently, these three (3) figures are being housed at the Golden Nugget Beach Club. Upon
acceptance, the City will place them at a permanent location.
