A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE FOR CITY COMMISSION
MEETINGS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2006; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to establish
a schedule of City Commission meetings for calendar year 2006;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Approval of 2006 Schedule of Commission Meetings.
Commission meetings for calendar year 2006 shall be as set forth herein:
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in January: Jan.
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in February: Feb.
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in March: Mar.
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 2nd Tuesday in April: Apr.
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in May: May
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in June: June
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in July: July
No Meetings in August
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in September:
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in October:
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in November:
7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 2nd Thursday in December:

Section 2.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

Re: Resolution Establishing a Schedule for City Commission Meetings for Calendar
Year 2006
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution establishing a
schedule for City Commission meetings for calendar year 2006.
REASONS:
The City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to establish a regular schedule of
City Commission meetings for calendar year 2006. Consistent with the requirements of City
Ordinance No. 2000-107, all but two of the monthly meetings have been scheduled for the third
Thursday of each month beginning at 7:30 p.m. The April meeting has been scheduled on the
second Tuesday, April II, 2006 due to the observance of Passover April 13 — 20, 2006. The
December meeting has been scheduled on the second Thursday, December 14, 2006.
