A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AI)PROVING A
CONTRIBUTION OF FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) TO
TEMPLE B'NAI ZION; PROVIDING FOR THE CITY
MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO
EFFECTUATE TIUS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is celebrating its 10th year anniversary; and
WHEREAS, Temple B 'nai Zion is an integral part of the City of Sunny Isles Beach and
has participated in many City events; and
WHEREAS, Temple B'nai Zion provided a luncheon for the City's Sister City Netanya,
Israel and staff; and
WHEREAS, the City if grateful for its involvement in this community and wishes to
make a donation, in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), to Temple B'nai Zion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. Authorization of Donation. The City Commission hereby authorizes a donation in
the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) to Temple B'nai Zion.
Section 2. Authorization of Citv Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all
things necessary to effectuate this Resolution
Section 3.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21 st day of June 2007.

Approval of Charitable Donation to Temple B'nai Zion
At its regular meeting of June 21, 2007, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2007-
1128, which approved a $500 chartable donation to Temple B'nai Zion. Attached is a copy of
the approving legislation to assist you in processing this item.
Please be advised that Mavor Edelcup would like to present the check to the temple.
